About Me
All you ever wanted to know about me:

I was born in Houston, Texas on June 8, 1971. I lived in Houston until I moved to Huntsville, Texas in 1989 to attend school at Sam Houston State University. I studied computer science and photography and graduated with a bachelor of science in 1993. I continued to live in Huntsville after completing school and moved back to Houston in 1994. I entered the telecommunications industry in 1995 as a computer operator and have been a programmer/analyst since 1996. I was transferred with my job to New York in November, 2000, then was layed off in September 2002. I now reside in the Lower East Side in New York City, NY.

Running on
My hobbies include computers (surprise!) movie watching and running. I began running in the spring of 1999 and ran my first marathon in Houston in January of 2001. My dream is to run the NY Marathon one day.

La Familia
I have an older sister, Kim, who still lives in Houston. Kimmy has visited me in NY twice. The first time she visited was just two weeks after the terrorist attacks in September, 2001. It was nice having my Kimmy visit in that difficult time. The last time she visited was for my birthday this past June. Now if I can just get my mother to visit!

These are my parents, Pat and Jim. Mom's retired and Dad's going to retire soon. This photo is from their prom; they're highschool sweethearts!

My friend Claudia visits me in NY occasionally. We met while in school and have been friends ever since. She comes to NY for business a few times a year. I went to the Statue of Liberty for my first time with Claudia.

I suppose I'll add details as they become available. For now I'm just enjoying exploring my new city with my friends, some new, some old.
